My influences as a designer have been very much shaped by the many fortunate experiences of growing up in a household rich with combined culture.
Being British born and understanding the quality that British workmanship carries is crucial to the design industry. Being exposed to the natural and textural elements of East Africa whilst experiencing the many vibrant colours and patterns of the Indian sub-continent inherently influence the interesting layers that evolve in my designs.
Pre 2011, my previous career history spanned 10 years of working in the Equity Markets financial sector. Gaining pivotal skills such as technological expertise, attention to detail and organisational skills have immensely complemented the creative flair and confidence required in Design practice.
Graduating from the prestigious KLC School of Design with an Interior Design degree plus an Award Winning prize for Textile Research and Application, set the foundation for a high quality approach to design.
Having initially worked for some esteemed London based design studios provided a vast range of experience ranging from residential homes to High-end central London properties. This paved the way to founding my own studio - Interiorise.
